About the HCC
The Taylor Health Care Committee (HCC) was formed and works together to support union and non-union employees. As of January 2026, the HCC is providing a defined contribution plan through the district. A defined distribution plan is when an employer provides a specific dollar amount for benefits. Through plan management and teaching employees how to save themselves (and the plan) money, this offering will allow us to meet our goal of providing the best benefits we can and to facilitate an environment that encourages a healthy work-life balance. And, through the wellness program, we will support your physical or mental needs through various resources. The wellness program will include healthy recipes, on-demand webinars, on-demand yoga and physical exercise programs, as well as informative live events.

Open Enrollment is typically held in the month of December. If you are newly hired, your enrollment window will vary. Certain changes in the household also qualify to allow changes in benefits.
